Safety is our top priority, always keeping our team and everyone else out of harms way. All our team members are IRATA/SPRAT certified rope access technicians. IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trades Association) and SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) are the highest standard for rope access around the world. We ensure our team stays up on training not only with rope access but with training in first aid and materials handling. Each job site location will have a level 3 rope access technician to over see rigging of ropes and inspections and perform site hazard evaluations.
We ensure our team is aware of all potential hazards on the work site and know the mitigations in place to prevent from harm to personnel, equipment or property. Going through a job hazard assessment every morning before work with the team ensures everyone is aware of any new hazards that may arise, as well as keep existing ones in mind to combat complacency. Everyone will be aware of the specific rescue plan determined by our level 3 for each job and what their role is in that plan.
All team members will be aware of all access egress routes on site and the location of alarms and fire extinguishers. The use of two-way radios will be utilized for communication between team members and leads. All level 3 technicians are trained in first aid and advanced rope access rescue methods.
All our specialty rope access equipment is inspected regularly by a competent person, as well as being inspected before each use. It is important to teach and maintain good safety habits day in and day out to ensure a good safety culture. This coupled with regular audits of our safety program, inspections and remeasuring our HSE program on a daily basis, ensures that we will continue to lead our industry in safety performance.
